"Bristlecone Pine Vista"
22" x 30" Acrylic inks on white paper, already framed.
The Ancient Bristlecone Pine forest is located in a remote corner of California, east of Bishop.  They grow at elevations of 9000 ft and higher, and are believed to be the oldest living things on earth.  This particular drawing looks eastward into Nevada from an elevation of 11,000 ft.  I made this trip for my 50th birthday; somehow I thought that it might make me feel more youthful.
