"Light Through the Redwoods"

One of my favorite places to go visit the ancient redwoods is the Dyerville grove in Southern Humboldt county.  It was near the day's end, and only the light at this low angle creates these shadows and light patterns in a dense stand of old growth trees.
This piece was created for the 1st annual "Small Works" fundraising benefit for the Morris Graves Museum in Eureka, California.
